Art & Science of Healing to support the Mayfield Education & Research Foundation
CINCINNATI – Hosting a party to showcase latest innovations in neurosurgical care and the patients who benefit from them, the Mayfield Education & Research Foundation presents The Art & Science of Healing on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the View in Mount Adams, starting at 6:00 p.m.
Known as the "hippest science fair in Cincinnati," The Art & Science of Healing will raise funds to support research and education into diseases and disorders of the brain and spine. This vibrant, sparkling evening of dinner and dancing will highlight techniques that improve outcomes for patients with complex spinal disorders, back pain, brain tumors, strokes, brain aneurysms and other health challenges. Those in attendance will hear the inspirational story of a grateful Mayfield patient, and we also will announce a community wide collaboration to improve research and education around cranial neurosurgery.
We invite the entire community to celebrate with the Mayfield Education & Research Foundation and raise funds for groundbreaking research," said Deb Livingston, development director of the foundation. "Guests will enjoy the party atmosphere while knowing that they are serving the patients and families who benefit from Mayfield's innovative clinical care."
For more than 80 years, the neurosurgeons, interventional pain specialists and providers at Mayfield Brain & Spine, the region's premier neurosurgery practice, have specialized in helping patients reduce their pain and regain their level of activity to live active and productive lives. Mayfield is a leader in research and scholarly education that enhances the community's health and improves the practice of neurosurgery. The Mayfield Education & Research Foundation provides those resources to the community and supports the innovative clinical care of the surgeons and physicians of Mayfield.
Attendees at The Art & Science of Healing event will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology, support various Mayfield clinical initiatives and engage with the foundation's ongoing research and education programming. Emcee for the evening will be Liz Bonis, health reporter for Local 12 news. For more information or to register, please visit www.MayfieldFoundation.org.
